I was inspired to become an Interior Designer because growing up, my family moved quite a few times. It gave me the opportunity to look at the way different homes had been designed in the past and allowed me to be able to acknowledge what works and what doesn't in a space. It also pushed me to see what could be improved in a home in order to better the life of the people who live or would eventually live there. Through UW-Stout, I have been able to learn how to create functional, creative layouts, and designs for residential and commercial interiors. In the future, I would like to be able to create sweet and simple interiors that will positively impact the environment and the people who spend time in them.
