Project Description: 

To research, design, and develop a commercial space, that exhibits everything that has been learned in the last four years of school at UW-Stout. 

Concept Statement: 

The goal of this design was to create a soothing and natural environment, that will embrace the outdoors and natural environment where the property is located in Northern Wisconsin. This was achieved through large windows, that let in natural light and allow easy viewing of the lake and forest. The materials used throughout the space reflect the nature present outside, by the use of warm woods and soothing yellows, blues, and greens. The style will be rustic and modern, which was shown through large wood beams and dark, sleek fireplaces, both in the main lodge and cabins. This resort was designed to be your home away from home, with amenities that can be enjoyed by the whole family, inside or outside.
